Carl Osborne, Kelly Slade, Graham Spragg, Scott Rockingham, Jade Smith and Sarah Jenkins were the fortunate Amersham & Wycombe College students selected after interviewing a college lecturer from the decision to try to get after.

Carl said: "As I would like to go into events when I leave college, the day was extremely valuable.

"It was interesting to see so many different companies involved.

"The stage set was awesome and the gear must have cost a fortune to hire."

Kelly added: "Going back stage and then checking out the front of house was an amazing experience.

"We got to see the Kings of Leon perform who were just amazing, it was an incredible day out and we learned so much from it."

Music lecturer Sarah Hayden said: "Our BTEC Music students had to earn the right to be there.

"All of our music students were given the opportunity to apply for the work experience opportunity and selection was done through an application and interview process - just like in the real world.

"I gave them feedback on how well they did in the interviews, as well as areas were they could improve in the future."
