Kings Of Leon change Australian tour dates


Kings of Leon will be touring Australia this year in March and they've made some modification to the dates and venues scheduled for the show.

The Brisbane performance at QSAC Stadium will now take place at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Tuesday 8 March; the Sydney ACER Arena performance on Tuesday 8 March will be rescheduled to Friday 11 March; the Adelaide Oval's Sunday 13 March performance will now take place at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre with no change to the date.

Ticket sold for the shows in Brisbane, Adelaide and Sydney are now valid for the new dates/venues. All shows are all-ages.

Tue Mar 8 - BRISBANE ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE (new date + venue)

Ticketek will commence contacting patrons on Friday 28 January with details regarding ticket exchange. Any patrons unable to attend the rescheduled date can seek a refund prior to Friday 4 February at their original point of purchase.

Thu Mar 10 - ACER ARENA, SYDNEY
Fri Mar 11 - ACER ARENA, SYDNEY (rescheduled date)

Tickets for the Tuesday 8 March show will remain valid for the Friday 11 March show, with no change to allocation. Any patrons unable to attend the rescheduled date can seek a refund prior to Friday 4 February at their original point of purchase.

Sun Mar 13 - ADELAIDE ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE (new venue)

Ticketek will commence contacting patrons on Friday 28 January with details regarding ticket exchange.

Thu Mar 17 - ROD LAVER ARENA, MELBOURNE

Kings of Leon announce rescheduled London show


It has been revealed that Kings Of Leon shows at London's The O2 have been rescheduled,which was originally planned for December but cancelled after a fire at the venue.

The Sex on Fire rockers were urges to cancelled out of their last show of 2010 after two of their buses caught fire while equipment was being set up for the show.

Now the show will held on June 20, and all original tickets for the show remain valid.

Around 60 firefighters and 12 fire engines were called to the venue to tackle the fire,and while no-one was hurt in the incident.

A spokesman for the band said at the time that the gig had to be postponed because there was 'insufficient time to rig the arena' for the band's performance.

Their new show in June will now take place two days before their headlining gig at London's Hyde Park.

Kings Of Leon Prayers' To Australia Flood Victims


Nathan Followill,Kings of Leon drummer has expressed his sympathy with the victims of the floods in Australia.

In recent weeks the country has face severe flood in which thousands of people got homeless.The largest city of the Brisbane has 20,000 homes at threat.

“My thoughts and prayers go out 2 all the flood victims in Australia. Help if you can," said the drummer of Kings of Leon in his message from twitter.The band is due to tour Australia in March.

The flash flooding in Queensland has left 12 dead, with reports of a bull shark being spotted in the streets of Brisbane.

Kings Of Leon's Australian dates are due to kick off in Brisbane on March 6.

At this year’s Royal Wedding,Kings of Leon would ‘jump’ at the chance to play.
Prince William and Kate Middleton look like nice people says Kings of Leon drummer, Nathan Followill.
But the ‘Sex Is On Fire’ band also revealed the heir to the throne isn’t their favourite royal, they much prefer Harry, who Followill describes as a “dude”.
The drummer told the Prince would throw a “Kings of Leon style party” and inserted he recently beat him in a table tennis match.
Kings of Leon will start on a UK tour this summer to promote recent album ‘Come Around Sundown’.

King Of Leon Gorgeous Band Win Ping Pong

King Of Leon are gorgeous band and they are pleased with themselves because they've beaten royalty at a game of table tennis.

Followills were currently in London, England at the city's O2 Arena had a ping-pong match with Prince Harry backstage.

Frontman Nathan Followill told The Sun about the average dudes' win, "We're still pretty wide-eyed about meeting dignitaries but he's the cool prince I think. Man, we would jump at playing the royal wedding if we were asked. Wills and Kate look like nice people. But Harry is the dude. His is the wedding we would most likely play. He knows his music. He keeps it real on his iPod. I'm sure Wills and Kate know what they are doing but Harry would definitely throw a Kings Of Leon-style party."

Kings Of Leon were spoken if they could go easy on Prince Harry so he could win, but they decided it was better to let the common people win, according to The Sub reports.

Kings of Leon revealed to have no royal connection at all

Popular beat combo, Kings of Leon have been asked to change their name to just Leon after it has been revealed that the French city does not have one royal person, never mind four separate kings.

"It is an atrocity that these Followill brothers are attempting to claim the throne of Leon," said Leon Mayor, Faiseur de Roi though an interpreter despite speaking fluent English. "Just who do they think they think they are?"
