Toxic Poop Kills Kings of Leon Show
The line of Leon King, Francois Suivre les Mauvais can be traced all the way down through the centuries. According to the genealogy chart provided by Lee Dan Followill, the family moved first to Scotland, then to America via Shap and Bolton, Anglicising their name on the way.
"We are direct descendent of the deposed king of Leon," said Followill, "and Caleb is so magnanimous that he has decided to share his power with his family"
"I even took the fish into the bar. I remember sitting on the edge of the bed in my bathrobe with the fish in the tank on my lap, flicking through all the TV channels. God knows what happened after that."
It's hard to be king in the Internet age. In a time when false information is granted equal credence as fact and anyone with an elementary understanding of writing can post an opinion, it's nearly impossible to get to the top of any field without a certain level of criticism. This theory is further amplified in the world of music when it comes to bands and journalists, who serve as their potential king-makers.
Once you get big, and have a record like we did and the success we did, you just get people that don't like you anymore or don't like you period,"

King of Leon UK tour, band's says change in sound
King of Leon UK tour, whose band have said that before ended the year we wait to change their sound is purely unintentional.
King of Leon had thought that their sound had changed importantly from the more alternative style of their kindly albums.
However, they argued this is a result of growing as a band instead than any deliberate attempt to application to a wider audience for commercial success.
Nathan Followill told the news supplier, "People listened to our first record and how different it sounded to our fourth and people think that was intentional. As our sound evolved I think a lot of people mistook us growing naturally for being a band that tried to change our sound up and tried to go in a completely different direction. It was really just us growing as a band."

Kings Of Leon: ''Come Around Sundown''s lyrics were ad-libbed in the studio'
Kings Of Leon's Caleb Followill has admitted that all the lyrics on the band's new album were ad-libbed.
Speaking in the November issue of Uncut magazine, on newsstands in the UK now, the frontman said that sessions for 'Come Around Sundown' saw him record the ad-libbed lyrics then try to change them later – only to be vetoed by his bandmates.
"I didn't write lyrics," he explained. "I went in and ad-libbed, I free-floated everything. The closer it got to the end, I felt like, 'Man, you didn't do your job.'"
He added: "I kept thinking, 'When I go back and redo the lyrics, then I'll get it. But when I went back in to try to do that, everyone was like, 'What are you doing? You can't change those lyrics. Those are the lyrics.'"
Followill added that he lacked confidence in the record until he played it to his girlfriend, model Lily Aldridge.
"I played her one song, and when I did, she looked at me and went, 'What the fuck? Why haven't you played me this? What are you scared of?'" he said. "Before you know it, we had listened to every song, and she just loved it. That gave me the confidence to say, 'All right, well, maybe I'm in my head too much'."

Kings Of Leon - Radioactive Lyrics
The road is carved up yonder
I hope you see me there
Its in the water, Its where you came from
Its in the water, Its where you came from
And the crowd begins to wander
And they cry to see your face
Its in the water, Its in the story of where you came from
Your sons and daughters in all their glory its gonna save her
And when they crash and come together, and start rising
Just drink the water where you came from, where you came from
So the road it was carved from yonder
Never sold yourself away
Its in the water, Its in the story of where you came from
Your sons and daughters in all their glory its gonna save her
And when they crash and come together, and start rising
Just drink the water where you came from, where you came from
And when they dance and come together and start rising
Just drink the water where you came from where you came from

Kings Of Leon - Arizona Lyrics
All I ever needed
All I ever wanted
So hold on to surrender
She shakes
Like I'm on a railway
Checking me out
Someone on a shoulder
Her lamp
Slippers in her bedroom
She must feel it's awkward
Oh, I said it's Arizona
Now go stand up to a giant
Said that I'm a fighter
Too drunk to remember
Too drunk to
Shake hands, my face
Standin' on a treadmill
Tastin' something awful
I hate when that happens
She waits in and out of Texas
She must be plum crazy
I kinda think I like her
I kinda think I do

History Of Kings Of Leon
The group members of Kings of Leon are:
Nathan Followill (drums)
Caleb Followill (lead singer/rhythm guitar)
Jared Followill (bass)
Matthew Followill (lead guitar)
The band's name is imitative from Nathan, Caleb, and Jared's father and grandfather, both named Leon. Jared and Caleb were born in Tennessee, while Nathan and Matthew were born in Oklahoma. The brothers spent much of their time of youth travelling with their father in America, a travelling Pentecostal preacher and their mother, who taught them when they were not in school. According to Rolling Stone magazine, "While Leon preached at churches and tent revivals throughout the Deep South, the boys attended services and were infrequently enlisted to bang on some drums. They were home-schooled or enrolled in small parochial schools. Except for a five-year stretch when they settled in Jackson, Tennessee, the Followills spent their childhoods driving through the South in a purple 1988 Oldsmobile, decamping for a week or two where on earth Leon was scheduled to preach."
Their parents divorced in 1997 and after various jobs, the brothers shifted to Nashville in 1998. They shaped a band in 2000 with their cousin Matthew. Their music is affected by their religious upbringing and their Southern roots. They got their start with their album Youth and Young Manhood and rose to relative stardom, especially outside the United States, by being chosen by popular rock bands The Strokes and U2 to tour with them. Standout tracks include the lively "Molly's Chambers" and soulful "California Waiting". Their second album Aha Shake Heartbreak was launched in the United Kingdom in October 2004 to widespread acclaim. The album was praised for its mix of garage rock and Southern swagger. "The Bucket", "4 Kicks", and "King of the Rodeo" have been released as singles thus far. Aha Shake Heartbreak was released on February 22, 2005 in the United States.
The Kings of Leon often tour with their cousin and tour technician Christopher, aka Nacho.
